Hometown Scene?

Boompa's--in Moreno Valley, mind you--has shows.

And so does a new pizza joint over by Mission Grove, a coffee shop next door to it, and, of course, Coffee Depot by the Metrolink station.

There's also, apparently, some punk bands around town too.

Now, I've lived here for... going on, nine years now, and I had no fucking clue. Where the hell have I been?!

  You didn't know about Jazz n Java having open mic nights? It used to be an it's a grind but they have had them for a while. But I might have known that because a friend of mine worked there.

      Ah, I guess they have this guy that comes that really good. Most of them are old guys covering classic rock songs though.
